鼠 — 四臂观音（千手观音化身）

在藏传佛教和汉传佛教中，十二生肖守护神又被称为「本命佛」，是根据出生年份对应生肖而来，每位佛菩萨守护特定属相的人，护佑其平安吉祥、智慧圆满、事业顺遂。

属鼠之人的守护神为四臂观音，又称四臂观世音菩萨，是观世音菩萨的化身之一。四臂观音象征大悲、大智、大愿、大力，四只手分别持有数珠、莲花、法轮及合掌，代表以慈悲智慧解救众生、帮助化解烦恼、积累功德。

供奉或佩戴四臂观音本命佛，可助属鼠之人逢凶化吉、远离灾障、增强内心力量，并引导走向慈悲与智慧的修行之路。

In both Tibetan and Han Chinese Buddhism, the Zodiac Guardian Deities, also known as "Birth Buddhas" or "Personal Deities," correspond to each zodiac sign and are believed to protect individuals born under that sign, bringing them peace, wisdom, and prosperity.

The guardian deity for those born in the Year of the Rat is the Four-Armed Avalokiteshvara, a manifestation of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva (Guanyin). The Four-Armed Avalokiteshvara symbolizes great compassion, great wisdom, great vow, and great power. The four hands hold a mala (prayer beads), a lotus flower, a dharma wheel, and are joined in prayer, representing the vow to relieve sentient beings from suffering with compassion and wisdom.
