Sodza Rinpoche

Rinpoche Soza was born in 1997 in Dongda Village, Ling family lineage, Dege County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province — a land blessed with spiritual auspiciousness. Ordained at a young age, he entered Cochong Five Sciences Buddhist Institute, where he undertook 12 years of rigorous study in Sutra, Tantra, and Dzogchen traditions, mastering the three principal paths of Tibetan Buddhism.

On July 22, 2022, Rinpoche graduated with distinction, receiving the prestigious titles of Geshe (Philosophical Master) and Doctor of Buddhist Studies. He was later admitted to Sichuan Tibetan Buddhist Institute for further academic exploration, and served as a teacher at Cochong Institute from September 2022 to March 2023, guiding students with both compassion and insight.

During this period, he published several notable works including "Youthful Passion", "The Ever-Flowing River", and "The Gift of Happiness". He also served as chief editor for renowned Buddhist journals such as "The Melody of the Conch", "Spadojong", and "Zha: Selected Chants of Cochong Institute", earning acclaim from the wider reading community.

Rinpoche Soza stands as a bridge between ancient wisdom and contemporary understanding, embodying compassion and clarity, and is recognized as a highly respected new-generation teacher in the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism.
