Tsewang Jigme Tulku

Introduction:

Tsewang Jigme Living Buddha’s previous life can be traced back to Master Dongjun Teqin, one of the four great vidyadharas in the ancient Zhangzhung era. He was a famous monk in the early Bon period and had been reincarnated (including three reincarnations in Tadde Monastery). He was also the 17th hereditary living Buddha of the White Garuda hereditary family among the six hereditary families of Bon religion. He was a living Buddha with a postgraduate degree from Peking University.

He is currently a member of the Sichuan Youth Federation, Deputy Secretary-General of the 8th and 9th Sichuan Buddhist Association, Vice Chairman of the 6th and 7th Ganzi Prefecture Religious Association, Deputy Director of the 11th and 12th People's Congress of Derge County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, Member of the Sichuan Living Buddha Reincarnation Guidance Group, Vice Chairman of the Sichuan Kham Culture Research Association and Senior Expert of the Ganzi Prefecture Kham Culture Research Institute; He has been invited to participate in academic exchange activities overseas such as Westminster University and the University of Virginia in the United States.
