🪷缘起

Acala ('Immovable'), the wrathful emanation of Vairocana, is taught in the Mahāvairocana Sūtra. He wields sword and noose, framed in flames—wisdom-fire burns delusion, the noose binds beings to the good.

🔮寓意

In Chinese custom the Rooster is guarded by Acala. The wrathful face is great compassion in stern form; the sword cuts delusion. Wearing it recalls unshakable calm amid difficulty, not aggression.

Q: Why wrathful forms? A: To subdue stubborn minds by dignified awe that turns them from evil—essentially compassion, not anger.
