Star-Moon Bodhi · Awakening Mala (Mala)
🪷缘起
Star-Moon Bodhi is polished seed of the rattan; each bead shows a 'moon' dimple ringed by 'stars'—'stars cupping the moon, one thought of awakening.' The bodhi seed itself symbolizes enlightenment; disciples count on it.
🔮寓意
The natural pattern recalls 'all turns to center, every thought is awareness.' With handling it patinas and cracks—like wisdom surfacing with practice. Wear to train the mind via the object.
📿形制
Turned seed with a centered moon-eye and star dots; 108-bead mala, single/double wrap, 3–10mm.
💬答疑
Q: Must bodhi be consecrated? A: The bead is a aid; consecration is ritual blessing. True 'light' is in one's own awakening, not the object.
（Star-Moon Bodhi·Awakening Mala，借物摄心、以恭敬心日用，念念觉照、常念善缘，非迷信灵验。）
