Shurangama Sutra Medallion

Since ancient times, the Surangama Sutra has been considered to be the single most important starting point for seekers of divine wisdom. According to ancient scriptures, Gautama Buddha entrusted the Surangama Sutra to the Bodhisattva Manjushri, for safe keeping and for the transmission of its contents far and wide. It was believed that the survival of Buddhism and humanity, would one day rest solely on this text.

This unbelievable Shurangama Sutra Medallion is engraved with the entire Surangama Sutra in a circular format in the Siddham script on both sides. The edges of this Shurangama Sutra Medallion are embroidered in auspicious clouds. This medallion is made of 990 silver and comes with a Chinese sliding knot rope necklace.
