Since ancient times, the Surangama Sutra has been considered to be the single most important starting point for seekers of divine wisdom. According to ancient scriptures, Gautama Buddha entrusted the Shurangama Sutra to the Bodhisattva Manjushri, for safe keeping and for the transmission of its contents far and wide. It was believed that the survival of Buddhism, would one day rest solely on this text.
This Surangama Sutra Medallion is made of pure and solid tungsten steel. It is laser engraved with the entire Surangama sutra in the Siddham Script on both sides.
